5 Year FDNY Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Service

Every 5 years all NYC sprinkler & standpipe systems shall be tested and witnessed by a member of The Fire Prevention Bureau. Each building has different test conducted based on the systems within the building. When your system is ready to be tested a member of The Fire Prevention Bureau will issue a violation to the building. These violations can be either handed to building personal or posted somewhere in the building in hopes you find the violation. Once the violation is received you have 35 days to have the test scheduled.
